Oh my gosh~The Girl from Summer Hill was so much fun!

It's been a long time since I read Pride and Prejudice, but Ms. Deveraux does a fantastic job of weaving the story into a modern day romance in this introduction to the Virginia town of Summer Hill.

Casey is a chef who is licking her romantic wounds and getting to know her very unique extended family while helping with a local theater production when she meets movie stars, Tate and Jack. The romantic focus is on Casey and Tate, but we also get to a large number of their friends and family members.

An entertaining read, The Girl from Summer Hill, has so much going for it. There are great, multidimensional characters, intrigue, romance, and adventure. The secondary story lines compliment the principle romantic story without distracting from it, everything is so well woven together that I was sad when I stay on the plantation was over. I am looking forward to the chance to see who we will get to visit in Summer Hill next.
